Trijicon®, Inc. Bolsters LED ACOG® Line with New 3.5×35 Model

Wixom, Mich. (May 20, 2016) – Trijicon^®, Inc., global provider of innovative aiming solutions for the hunting, shooting, military and law enforcement markets, has introduced the 3.5×35 LED Advanced Combat Optical Gunsight to its legendary ACOG^® family of products. As a complement to the existing 4×32 LED ACOG, the 3.5×35 provides extended eye relief for increased weapons compatibility.

The LED ACOG is the first to offer user-selectable brightness controls. Users can choose from six adjustable brightness levels with an “off” between each setting. Powered by a single AA battery, the LED ACOG can run for over 12,000 continuous hours. As is customary in the entire ACOG line, the new LED model is forged from rugged 7075-T6 aircraft aluminum, resulting in a nearly indestructible sighting system. With multiple bullet-drop compensating and ranging reticle options, users can select from chevron, horseshoe, and cross-hair reticles in .223, .308 and 300Blk.

Premium, fully multi-coated optics and parallax-free, 3.5 or 4-times magnification combined with precise, 1/2-inch click adjustments assure shot-after-shot accuracy even in adverse conditions. Shockproof and waterproof, the ACOG has long been a favorite optic for military and law enforcement professionals, as well as hunters. The addition of these LED illuminated models continues this tradition with new red and green reticles that provide a clear target picture and allow for rapid target acquisition and precise holdover.

SB Tactical New Adjustable Pistol Stabilizing Brace Receives Favorable ATF Compliance Opinion

Saint Petersburg, Fla. (May 19, 2016) – SB Tactical^™, inventors and manufacturers of the Pistol Stabilizing Brace™, announced today that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (BATFE), has approved the design of the company’s new adjustable Pistol Stabilizing Brace. The ruling states the adjustable brace design is approved for PDW pistol platforms like the SIG MPX™ pistol. Installation of the brace would not change the classification of a pistol in accordance with GCA provisions. The growth of the PDW pistol category and the latest ATF letter approving the adjustable Pistol Stabilizing Brace design showcases the commitment of SB Tactical to innovate and serve the PDW Pistol Community.

Upon receipt of the favorable ATF Opinion Letter, SB Tactical accelerated the development of two adjustable brace models, the MPX PSB™ and SBPDW™. The company is pleased to announce they will begin shipping these new adjustable brace models this summer.

Designed solely for the AR pistol platform, the SBPDW weighs in at 18.14 ounces, measures 5.50 inches in length, and has a max width of 2.25 inches. The MPX PSB is designed exclusively for the SIG SAUER^® SIG MPX and SIG MCX line of products. The MPX PSB weighs 19.13 ounces, is 8.0 inches in length and has a max width of 2.25 inches.

Republic Forge Announces Major Participation at the 2016 NRA Annual Meetings & Exhibits
